Inspired by its African heritage, over fifty recipes were tried and discarded to deliver flavours back in the British colonial times. It’s aromatic, musky with very slight sweetness preceding a burst of cumin, sage and black pepper spice.

Paired with Fentimans Tonic water, orange zest, liquorice root, sage sprig and a lime wedge.
