Cadenhead’s Old Raj (Red Label)

A Scottish gin distilled from juniper berries, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander seed, angelica root, orris root, cassia bark and almond powder. It is made with the addition of saffron after the final distillation, which gives a very distinctive saffron aroma to the gin as well as a slight yellow colour. Slightly spicy, loaded of cardamom and saffron notes.

Paired with Fever Tree Indian Tonic, lemon zest, lemon biscuit, dried orange peels and a lime wedge.
